Plastiki

The Plastiki is a boat made out of recycled materials. The bottom of the boat is made of 2litre plastic bottles. In total there are 36,000 plastic bottles on the ship. The leader of this project is a person named David de Rothschild. He wanted to create the Plastiki, because there was garbage in the ocean and if you collected all the garbage in the ocean you could create some thing spectacular! Like the Plastiki. The construction of the boat started 3 years ago in 2007. The sail is also made out of plastic bottles. The technology used to create the Plastiki was unimanginable! They used Solar Panels to power the boat and the backup power for the engine is by pedalling a bycycle to create power for the engine.

The Plastiki set sail on moday and it's route is to cross the Atlantic Ocean

Skeleton Key is the third book in the Alex Rider Adventure Series, by Anthony Horowitz. The Alex Rider Series is about a boy who’s name is Alex Rider. He lives with his uncle Ian Rider. The thing Alex dosen’t know about his uncle is that he’s a spy. After one of his missions Ian get’s murdered by one of his enemies, Yassen. The company that Ian Rider worked for was called M16. Sincle Alex’s uncle is a spy, he told Alex that he was working for a bank. A day after his funeral M16 invites Alex to take the place of his uncle. At first he refuses,then he makes up his mind to join the agency.

His third mission was located on an island named Skeleton Key. A small part of the island is owned by a rich, Russian man. He used to be a general for the Russian Army. His name is General Sarov and his only wish is, that Russia will control over all the other countries in the world. To do this, he ordered a nuclear bomb. Alex Rider is going to investigate and will attempt to stop the nuclear bomb. In the end he was succsesful. If he hadn’t stopped the bomb, it would shatter the world into pieces.

Too much of tests!!!

This week and last week there were so many tests I had to study for, all kinds of tests, spanish,health and math, infact there is an upcoming formative science test !!uhhhhhh!!! Some thing I noticed about me this year is, when I do all my tests I get a letter grade I'm not proud of, like yesterday. I recieed my results for my spanish test and I got 2 B's and an A. Last semester I mostly got all A's, except for one B!!! Somehow I'm getting results that I'm not too proud of!!! WHAT IS HAPPENING???

The Weekend

Weekends are always the best days of the whole week, bcause you can sit back and relax ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! This week I went to my friend's party, his name is Ian. I recognized a lot of the people there because they were all in 6th grade. We first played futsal, which is indoor soccer for about 1 and a half hour. Since I'm not really interested in soccer it was pretty boring. But when we had lunch at Ian's house that's when the fun started, for me! After we had a nice lunch we played all sorts of games such as PS3( Playstation3) and a nerf gun war.

Waking Up

Every single day we have to wake up at 6:00 in the morning, SO EARLY. When I arrive at school, I always see people yawning and it makes me yawn too!!!!!! I just wish school could start at 9:00 because 7:30 is much too early. Sometimes I get a hadache because I'm so sleepy. When I daydream the only thing I think about is going back to sleep!!!!!!!!!!
