Haiti Update

Last Monday a terrible 7.0 magnitude earthquake shook Haiti. There is good news and of course bad news. The good news is that aid is being rushed into Haiti from all over the world, but there's a minute problem. All the aid that is being rushed into Haiti is by going through Haiti's main airport in Port -Au- Prince, the capital of Haiti. There is so much of aid to be sent through the airport and into Port-Au Prince that there may be an overload of people in the airport, which will obviously cause a very very very long line!!!

The second part of the bad news is that the death toll is rising by the minute. The giverment has to make a new solution with the airport.

As I am writing this post there are a lot of things going on in Haiti, RIGHT NOW!!!!! Such as the Dominican Republic are helping Haiti with the quake, or people are stealing goods from shops while other people are trying to take it away from them by murdering them!!!!!

You are right about the airport being overrun by flights pouring in. I looked at it on Google Earth, and it is just a small, one runway airport. And now all the large planes carrying aid are trying to get down, parked, and unloaded. What a headache!
